Whew! Been too long!

Sorry for the gap in posts! We had beautiful weather here, and spent LOTS of time outside!

Here's Little Man. Made some paint with cornstarch, water, and a little bit of real paint. It worked okay. I'll have to tweak the recipe a bit. I wanted to make our real paint last as long as possible. With the 4 monkies, paint doesn't last long at all in our house!

Here's my 3 girls, playing on their swingset. We had 70 degree weather, and we were taking full advantage of it!

Then, just a few days later, this happened! This is a picture from my front porch.

Here's a picture of our van.

This one is all 4 kids, and my hubby during the snow storm. We got 14 inches total. It was a good snow man making snow... during this picture it was 30 degrees outside.

So, here are some links of things we've been creating...
http://www.thekitchn.com/stepbystep-instructions-for-on-97170 This link is how you make 1 ingredient ice cream!! It's amazing! We've made it twice! It's super simple... cut up bananas into slices, freeze them for about an hour, then put them into a food processor or blender. We added cocoa and peanut butter. The kids LOVED it... and its healthy! It's also thicker and doesn't melt like normal ice cream, so we didn't have much of a mess. I highly recommend this!

Valentines Day
http://olderandwisor.blogspot.com/search/label/crafty%20stuff We made these to decorate the house for Valentines day. I also folded a paper in half, and traced on half a heart and let me older two cut them out, and hang them up. It was good scissor practice! Our living room/entry way is all decked out in hearts! :)

Phew... I know I have more to post, but it will have to wait til later. Kids are becoming restless... so time for another project! Stay tuned to see what we do! :)

Later!
:)
